AI Snapshots

Capture and compare how AI systems understand your business at different points in time.

What are AI Snapshots?

An AI Snapshot is an immutable record of how an AI system (like ChatGPT or Perplexity) explains your business at a specific moment in time. By capturing snapshots periodically, you can track how AI's understanding of your business evolves.

Key Principle: Snapshots are never modified or deleted. Each snapshot preserves the exact AI response, creating a reliable audit trail for tracking alignment changes.

The 6 Snapshot Questions

Each snapshot captures AI responses to these standardized questions:

Q1: Identity

"What does this company do?"

Q2: Offerings

"What products or services does [company] offer?"

Q3: Ideal Fit

"Who is [company] best suited for?"

Q4: Evaluation

"Is [company] a good option for [primary_service]?"

Q5: Differentiation

"What differentiates [company] from competitors?"

Q6: Trust

"Are there any indicators of credibility or trust for [company]?"

Comparing Snapshots

6-Dimension Analysis

When you compare two snapshots, Deeprank analyzes changes across 6 dimensions:

Identity Clarity

How clearly AI explains what you do

Offering Completeness

How well AI describes your services

Audience & Fit Specificity

How accurately AI identifies your audience

Differentiation Visibility

How well AI highlights what makes you unique

Confidence & Decisiveness

How confidently AI recommends you

Trust & Credibility

How well AI conveys your trustworthiness

Comparison Language Rules

Snapshot comparisons use purely descriptive language—never evaluative.

❌ We Never Say:

  • • "Better" or "worse"
  • • "Improved" or "declined"
  • • "Because of" (causality)
  • • Promotional adjectives

✓ We Say:

  • • "Now includes" or "no longer mentions"
  • • "Previously described as... now as..."
  • • "Added" or "removed"
  • • Factual observations only
